How to run a Tournament in your school
You may run a tournament in your school as a user on au.tornelo.com. This is the web application you'll use to actually run the tournament. It is very user-friendly!
Step 1: set up an account at au.tornelo.com with your email address and password.
Step 2: click My Tournaments menu in top right and start a new tournament
Step 3: enter names of players who will be taking part
Step 4: click "Start Now" when you're ready to go. A couple of oks and you have your first round pairings. Click on
Win/Draw or Win to enter results and then pair up your next round. And don't worry, you can add, change or
remove players at any time during an event
Please note that the default Tornelo scoring system setting for new tournaments is 1 points for a win, 0.5 for a draw and 0 for a loss. You can change this under "Settings" to adopt the Chess Challenge scoring system of 3:2:1 for win:draw:loss
If you require any assistance with anything at all, please email our helpline events@chesskids.com.au
